Tater Tot Casserole

This is a comfort food for us - beef, tater tots, and cheese make for some good warm gooey winter dinners!



1 pound ground beef


¼ cup minced onion
1 cup diced celery
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp fresh ground pepper
1 ½ cups cream soup replacement
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 pound frozen tater tots
Brown the beef with the onion and celery, in a skillet on medium heat.  Stir in the cream soup.  Pour the mixture into an 8x8 pan.  Cover with the grated cheese and then with tater tots. Bake  at 400 degrees  for 40 minutes.
